HUMIDITY & SWEAT RESISTANT MAKEUP PRODUCTS
As the hot summer months are quickly approaching, you have been frantically looking for makeup products that can withstand the heat. Well I have got you covered! Here are some of my favorite waterproof makeup products that will be game changers when it comes to longevity….

Face Primer
Prepping your skin is one of the most important things that will determine how long your makeup lasts! After your daily skincare routine, go in with a face primer. This will act as a base in between your skin and the foundation! This will prevent any oils or sweat from coming through to the surface.
My personal favorite for the summer is the Smashbox Photo Finish Super Light Primer. I LOVE this one so much better than the original because it does not feel as heavy or greasy! It also smooths and blurs the look of pores. If you do not have very many imperfections to cover up, you may just be able to slap this baby on and go!
Foundation
I am a REALLY big fan of the MAC Pro Longwear Nourishing Waterproof Foundation (yes, it’s quite a mouthful!).
A lot of foundations that claim to be waterproof, such as the Estee Lauder Double Wear or the MAC Studio Fix Fluid, are SO unbelievable matte and heavy feeling! You do do not want that on your face especially during the summer!
The Pro Longwear Nourishing Waterproof Foundation is the only foundation I’ve found so far that is not only waterproof, but lightweight as well! It also has a satin finish as opposed to matte. This means that it will not be drying for those with more dehydrated skin, but will still keep the oils at bay for the oily skin gals!
Concealer
The Tarte Shape Tape Concealer is a popular product that has been a lot of people’s ride or die every since it launched. It’s a full coverage concealer that has quite an extensive shade range. It dries down matte so it will not budge or crease easily. Since it is so matte, it may not be ideal for those with dry patches or flakiness on their skin.
It can also double as an eyeshadow primer as well!
NOTE: If you do want to use a more matte product and you have drier skin, try mixing that product with a facial oil or moisturizer!
Setting Powder
One of the most important steps to your makeup routine is setting powder! Even though your foundation is waterproof, you still want to make sure you lock it in with powder.
NOTE: If you have dry skin, you may want to skip this step!
I really think that the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Powder does the trick! It is a translucent finishing powder that goes with the majority of skin tones. It will not add any additional coverage or color, but just adds a light layer to set the liquid foundation in place. The powder is entirely waterproof and will not budge throughout the day!
Bronzer
You can’t be a bronze goddess for the summer without bronzer! The Tarte Park Avenue Princess Bronzer is literally the only powder bronzer that has proven to be completely waterproof. This will give you that natural bronze that makes you look like you’ve been out all day in the sun!
NOTE: You can use this as an eyeshadow in your crease to create a light wash of color!
Blush
Another Tarte product! The Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hr Blushes are seriously amazing! They are not only super blendable, but they have the same formulation as their bronzer and will stay in place for a lot longer that most powder blushes.
They come in a wide variety of colors and will suit most skin tones!
Highlighter
Everyone needs a good highlight for the summer! The Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid is the perfect way to get that face and body glow!
They come in 6 different shades and dry down so there is no transfer onto clothes. They do not have any chunky glitter in them so they will create an natural glow to the skin!
NOTE: I specifically like using a tone that’s one shade lighter that my skin color and using it to highlight my body for the summer!!
Eyebrows
I bet you saw this one coming! The Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade is a lot of people’s favorite product and for good reason! It not only glides on super smooth, but it also stays in place until you want to remove it. It sets itself in place so no brow gel is needed afterward.
I have been using this product for so long that I’ll never go back to a brow pencil or powder again!
NOTE: This product is VERY creamy so it can be very easy to get too heavy handed with it. Put a small amount on an angled brow brush and do light strokes to build up intensity.
Lipstick
This has got to be one of my favorite lipstick formulas of all time! This is the NARS Powermatte Lip Pigment. It is a liquid lipstick formula, but it is SO unbelievable thin that it does not feel like you’re wearing anything at all! It dries down matte and stays in place all day. It’s the perfect lip formula, am I right?
Mascara
We may not be wearing any eyeshadow for the summer, but mascara is always a must-have! The Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara has been one of my favorites since it launched. I actually prefer the waterproof version of it better than the original!
The wand itself creates amazing volume and length and the formula dries down and keeps your lashes looking good through sweat and humidity!
SIDE NOTE: How cute is the packaging?! The water droplets on it are so adorable!
Eyeliner
Yep…I know what you’re thinking… a drugstore product? YES!! I have tested and compared literally every black eyeliner formula out there and the NYX Slide On Eye Pencil is by far my favorite! It is super smudge proof, comes in a variety of colors, and doesn’t even budge on the waterline!! How amazing is that?
Setting Spray
Last but not least, you need something to lock in all of your hard work! The Urban Decay setting sprays are definitely miracle products!
I personally LOVE the All Nighter spray the most since it seems to lock in the makeup the most out of the 3 formulations!

Omg yes! You need to try the NARS Lipstick! It’s so good and hangs on literally ALL DAY. The formula is so thin so you cannot feel it which is amazing :)
